HBC: Sunday start question

I just started my period today. I was planning on being a "Sunday Start" pill taker and I wanted to start THIS Sunday. Should I wait until my period is over or go ahead and start tomorrow? I read the instructions in my pill pack but can't find anything useful. I recall asking my gynecologist this question and I think she said it was alright to start on any Sunday after you've already started your period for that month, but I wanted to ask you all to double check.

If it started today, that would make tomorrow the Sunday after, so yes. Perfectly fine to start then.

Just start on Sunday, your cycle is going to change and re-regulate, anyway.

You can actually start the pill anytime during your cycle, but it will sync up with your current cycle better if you start taking it close to your period. So yep, start tomorrow if that's the day you like best :)

When I started the pill I had very irregular periods so my doctor told me to just start it the following Sunday. You can actually start it whenever you want but I would advise using a back up for the first pack just as a precaution.

you're very welcome. Oh just so you know your periods might be kinda off for the first 3 months. I went back on the combined pill a few months ago and for the first pack I didn't get my period until the day I was going to start a new pack and it totally freaked me out.

Yeah, thanks. Last night I actually sat down and read those hella long "before you start the pill" instructions. *headdesk* Most tedious read of my life.
