Do you get post menstrual syndrome as opposed to premenstrual syndrome? I always get food cravings and sore boobs and bloat the week after my period starts. I'm on the pill as well. Maybe its the sudden drop and rise in hormones.

That sounds more like side effects of being on birth control than anything about your own natural cycle.

funny you mention this. i finished my period about a week ago and only now iam i getting the sore boobs thing. its a little unnerving really.

Yep, that's not a technically a "postmenstrual" syndrome, as women on hormonal birth control don't actually have a menstrual cycle. But it does sound like the reintroduction of the estrogen / progestin in the pill after your placebo week does cause some side-effects for you. :)

I'm on my pill period right now and I'm miserable. I was wondering the same thing about post menstrual syndrome myself though. I get extremely emotional the week after and just about anything will set me off

really? cause i'm not on the pill either and i've been having private freak outs in my head because i have these 'pms' symptoms. i find it really confuzing? is this due to my hormomes being out of wack? any ideas?
