Nitrofuran Monohyd?

Hello VPers. I was wondering if anyone else was ever prescribed Nitrofuran Monohyd Macro (Macrobid) for a UTI? How long did it take to kick in? Mine is a five day, two times a day dosage. Any help would be appreciated!

I've taken it before (every time I've had a UTI, actually!). It started working about two or three days into it. Please remember to eat lots of yogurt with it as you may get an accompanying yeast infection with it. It's powerful stuff!

About 48 hours was when I saw relief.
