Let me start this by saying I've never had any unfortunate vaginal health problems. I've never had a UTI or a yeast infection, so if this seems like a really obvious thing, I'm sorry. I just don't know.

For the past few days my vagina has been itchy. Not a burning sensation either, but just itchy... almost like when your hair starts to grow back in after a wax and there is that light but constant enough to be annoying itch. But inside my vagina where I'm certain I've never waxed.

So I'm not really sure what that is about. Then today, i started to... drip. The discharge hasn't changed - there is no unusual smell and the consistency hasn't changed at all - but when I stood up today I noticed that my normal amount of vaginal mucus had increased so much that it started running down my leg! Like, huge. And the amount has not gone down since.

I also noticed that when I would make bathroom stops to "mop" up my issue, the toilet paper appeared slightly pink at times... as if there was some blood. But I'm not sure. My period stopped a few days ago, so I don't think that could be it.

Any ideas? I looked with a flashlight and a mirror ad nothing looked out of the ordinary, but something must be off.

I was like that recently too, but it went away on its own.

If you have never had any experience with vaginal health issues before, I would recommend getting this checked out if it persists in the next few days. That way you can find out if it's something like a yeast infection or not. Besides, most yeast infection treatment things that are store-bought recommend only using them if you've been treated professionally for one in the past, so there's that too. =x

Hopefully that's all it is, but again, I don't know for sure. Good luck!!

it sounds like a yeast infection, but you should go to your doctor and get that checked out.

Sounds like it could definitely be a YI. If you're unsure, I'd head to the doc in a day or two (or sooner if the itching gets really unbearable) to make sure. Typical symptoms of YIs are itching and clumpy white discharge, but not all YIs have one or even both of those symptoms! I've noticed (and sorry if this is a little TMI) that when I let a YI get really far along before treating it, when I look at myself with a mirror, I can see white stuff almost coating what I can see of my vagina.
