so i just got the last shot of gardasil and to put it plainly,i feel terrible. my symptoms are extremely achy muscles, freezing cold, no energy, pretty much all the symptoms of a fever but my temperature isn't high. ok so what i'm asking is this normal? i didn't get any of this the last 2 shots..the only symptom i had was pain where the needle went. i'm really concerned right now...did anyone have these symptoms??

I had similar symptoms when I had an MMR...unless it gets worse, I think you are ok.

A day or so...I had the shot in the morning, I felt bad all day and just went to bed.

could be coincidental, sounds like you're coming down with a virus.

vaccines work by building an immune response-- it's not uncommon to feel flu-like symptoms after you've had a booster or two, because by that time your immune system has built up enough antibodies to try to fight the antigen. if you start feeling worse or get concerned, take a trip to your GP. otherwise, just take it easy for a few days.

I was fine for my first two shots, I just had a sore and "dead" arm. When I got the last one, I was woken up in the middle of the night and I was freezing and shaking uncontrollably, my neck and spine were hurting so much because I was shivering so much. I was sweating too, I thought I'd have to go to the emergency room. But I got a hot water bottle and wrapped my self in a lot of clothes and I felt okay in a few hours (the shivering stopped after 10 minutes). The next day I felt a little nauseous, and worn out but I was okay.

So weird I had the exact same symptoms and now the next day I feel nauseous and worn out too. Crazy!

lol i would seriously not wish this upon my worst enemy. it was terrible. that's all i can describe it as, good luck :[ hopefully you don't get what i had.
