Hi all, I'm a long time lurker and decided to join up today.

My question is, have any of you had a masturbation mishap?  I had one today. 

For the first time in weeks, I decided to give myself some lovin'.  I got out the trusty toy and settled in to get comfortable only to find the batteries were flat (story of my life!!).  This normally would not present a problem because the spare batteries are usually close by but I've recently moved house since the last time I had a play with myself and didn't know where the hell I'd pack the spares!  Crisis was averted after about 5 minutes of frantic looking through boxes and bags and a good time was had. 

Anything like this happen to you lovelies?

I am ALWAYS running out of batteries. I have lots of rechargable ones but even then I sometimes forget to recharge after using them up.

Five years ago, while still in college, I was living on campus over the summer. My friend with benefits had gone back to the Bronx so I broke out my vibe and went to town.
Well, I tried to go to town. The vibrator was powered by a twist control top and batteries. And that top flicked off as soon as I twisted it.

One time I was going at it in the shower with the hot water on full blast and right after I came the heavy, humid air and the warmth and the panting almost made me pass out -- black spots in the vision, difficult to breathe, etc. I slid down to the floor of the shower and just sat there a moment struggling to stay conscious. I had to go sit out of the shower for a few minutes with the door open just so I could breathe! After that I took to only masturbating during warm showers, not hot :-P
