Inducing periods

Is there a way to induce a period that does not involve parsley tea?
I've tried the parsley before and it did absolutely nothing..

My period is supposed to start this week but sometimes it's not always on time..
and I'm going on vacation friday. I'd like for it to be over with :]

vitamin c? i've never tried it but that's what i've read.

I've had success with dill seed and celery seed. Make a tea with it. I can't say how much you'd need. I think I used a table spoon of each combined or a teaspoon of one or the other. Have a couple cups a day until your period starts, I guess if you have no luck after day 2 or 3 then you may be out of luck. Nothing like our periods to ruin things...
