Anyway to stop bleeding and spotting?

So I recently arrived at college on Friday. Unfortunately due to the flight and grabbing baggage thing I was late by 1/2 an hour to take my pill. No big deal right?

 Wrong.

There are reasons I'm damn near religious about taking my pills. I started bleeding and am still spotting. My Boy is coming down to visit me this weekend and I'd REALLY like to have stopped spotting by the time he gets down here. I'm taking 2 pills a day - one in the morning and one at my usual pill-taking time.

Any other advice for getting rid of spotting-ness in a short period of time?

It can be pretty difficult to stop spotting once it's started. Taking two a day won't necessarily change anything -- sometimes it just lasts until the placebo week, when your body is able to have a full bleed.
