Tubal question.

I had my tubes tied 3 months ago when I had my daughter. I have had 2 periods since then and the cramps have been bad and I bleed very HEAVY. Has anyone else had this issues after a tubal?

though i've not had a tubal (nor a child) i've heard lots of anecdotal evidence that periods - particularly those first postpartum periods - can be quite heavy and brutal. i'd venture that your heavy painful periods have more to do with your postpartum state than your tubal ligation, but if it's very concerning to you certainly mention it to your health care provider and get her/his input.

Everything jennifer0246 said. Also, were you using any kind of hormonal birth control before you were pregnant, since for many people periods are lighter while on HBC.

I haven't had a tubal.... but I imagine anything that throws your system off like that is bound to mess up your cycle for awhile.

i've heard tons of the same complaints from pretty much all the women i know who've had tubals.
i think its something that just...comes with it.
like "yay you have a tubal! enjoy the free horrible periods as a bonus!"

...i could be wrong though.
