Vaginal lubrication after a bowel movement....

Do any of you ever get vaginal lubrication/mucus come out when you have a bowel movement?

I've been getting a lot recently and just assumed it was something to do with a particular gland being stimulated when I have a bowel movement.

I guess I just wanted to check that I was 'normal' and it wasn't a bad thing or something...

actually, it's just that the stool pushes it down, most likely. you'll probably find you notice this more when you're fertile or otherwise have a lot of vaginal/cervical secretions.

I get this all the time - 95% whenever I have bowel movements.

This happens to me nearly every BM. I think it's because the wall between your vagina and rectum is quite thin and secretions get pushed down.

Yeah, I get this and I wondered about it! I wondered if it was my vagina being nice and offering some lube to help with difficult poops! :P Yay, I'm glad you posted this and I'm glad the consensus was it's normal!

I get this quite a bit especially if it's right before my period. I have no idea why, I just figured it is what it is?

This is normal. I have read on a few sites about monitering your cervical mucous that it is often easiest to check it after having a BM because it gets pushed down and is easier to observe then.
