It all started Sunday night..

I am not due for my period for another 4-5 days.. but last night, at work.. I noticed some brown spotting.. and I really didn't think much about it. I had some cramps when I got home and usually my period isn't early at all. I woke up in the middle of the night due to really bad cramping.. and I noticed more brown/dark red spotting. My period always comes on time, maybe a few times it was a day early or a day late, but never had any spotting.

Usually the heavier my period is, the worse my cramps are (of course).. It's really heavy on my pad, but when I wipe, theres hardly anything there. I do have a heating pad on right now, and that works 100% for me, and today for some reason, the heat feels nice, but its not helping at all

Now, my question is.. could this be a sign of pregnancy?? I really don't have any other signs (that I can think of), been having a lot of migraines (but I have had those before, and it hasn't affected my period before).

I have yet to go to my Doc yet.. I was awaiting to see if my actual period would come first, and than if this continues and it doesn't come.. than definitely going to check it out.

My Husband and I always use condoms or he'll pull out. For the first time last week, we had sex without pulling out or no condom. We've been talking about starting a family soon, and we weren't really trying that day, but it was what we both wanted.

Could the spotting be from that??

Now today (Tuesday) when I woke up.. my stomach is still feeling a bit cramp-y, but not like yesterday. I do have the usual headache that I get before my period comes.. I know thats the sign that it'll be here soon. Its still a mixture of brown and dark red.. but not as much as yesterday.

If you're bleeding, it's unlikely you're pregnant. It could be a miscarriage or just an early period, I'd say it's almost impossible to tell.

If she's bleeding heavily, it's unlikely she's pregnant. I had decidual bleeding with my kid -- definite bleeding, definite kid over there. I thought I'd miscarried. Nope!

However, I also had light, spotty periods in the months before, when the spouse and I had deliberately dispensed with all contraception. That's one reason the light, spotty decidual bleeding fooled me. (However, there was definitely bleeding worthy of a light pad going on.) Going without contraception kind of weirded my body out now and then, I guess.

I second the multicolor ribbon below: around the time the period would've been due, grab a cheap pregnancy test and use first morning's pee.

It doesn't sound like you are pregnant, but based on what you said it is technically possible. I'm not sure when implantation would occur but sometimes I've heard there can be bleeding associated with that. I'm not sure about cramping.
I'd just wait until I was "due" to have my regular period and get a cheap dollar store test and take it with first morning urine to be sure.
I get migraines on a regular basis, and sometimes they can be hormonal migraines.
