Righto. I posted about a similar problem a little over six months ago. There is a little red line above...well, I'm not sure WHAT it's called, but it's above the clit, under the mound. Anyways, it's a small red line. It looks like a scratch. It's pretty small, probably half an inch long. If I pull on the skin around the area it hurts. It feels tight and is basically uncomfortable. I can really only feel when I pull on the skin.

It's been there for, like I saidm a little over 6 months. Sometimes it doesn't bother me very much at all and I forget about it for a month or so.

Last night I had sex for the first time in about 9 months (used condoms, btw). Today I was feeling pretty sore and was checking stuff out when I saw that the red line was now accompanied by another one, and both were raised (again, like a new scratch would be, but it never was raised before). Both are uncomfortable if you pull on the skin around.

I really don't know what this is. I've looked at a ton of different std/sti sights, and nothing sounds very similar. I will be going to the doctor soon to check it out; I'm kicking myself for never having mentioned it before, it never seemed like a big deal and I kept forgetting about it.

But, hopefully if anyone has any ideas and can give me some info I would not die from worry before I go to the doctor.

Thanks!

I have genital herpes type 1, and my first and thankfully only outbreak was what looked like a scratch or a small cut, but I kept having sex and it started to bother me more, and began to sting when i would pee... BUT they say an outbreak should clear it self up in about a months time? You may want to go to a doctor and have it swabbed to be sure...

I actually had a pap while it was there and the doc told me it just looked like I aggrivated it from too much sex, well when it began to hurt I went to a diffrent doc who from sight said it looked like herpes, did a swab test and sure enough it was - needless to say I don't go see that older doc anymore...

I dont want to scare you but you may want to have it checked out just for peace of mind!

Ii have the same thing! It's a vertical sort of scratch, and I've had mine for at least 4 months. I just haven't done anything about it either except be careful when I'm washing or masturbating--and sometimes it's painful when I pee.
Difference is, I'm a virgin. My boyfriend only began touching me "down there" about 2, maybe 2.5 months ago. So I've had this before then, and I don't think it's an STI. I'm wondering if I didn't accidentally scratch myself masturbating, and then it just didn't heal properly? Cause you know, conditions are moist and not exactly sterile down there.

PLEASE let me know what you find out. Thanks so much, and good luck!
