continuing Yasmin after the morning after pill?

Hello again,
I took the second dose of emergency birth control two hours ago. I know that soon, I will start feeling really, really sick (I felt extremely nauseated after taking the first dose, and vomited.. the nausea only just subsided).

I'm just wondering if it's absolutely necessary that I take my Yasmin pill today, since I'm taking the EC anyway...? If it doesn't make me any sicker, or if taking it would add effectiveness to the EBC, I would gladly take it. But if it's just going to make me sicker without any merits, I'd rather not.

(I know taking anti-nausea medicine would help, but I got sick before the shops opened and have been lying in bed feeling too ill to go out so it's not really an option)

Hi,
no I didn't vomit within two hours - eight or nine hours had passed, so I think I absorbed it.

I wish I had access to anti-nausea medicine but unfortunately I don't... I did make myself eat with the last pills though so hopefully I won't get it as bad and I'm feeling ok so far.. (and I did take the yasmin to be safe).

I'm going to echo the first commenter's question: Did you vomit within 2 hours of taking the pill?

To answer your question, YES. You need to continue your birth control like normal so as to not throw things out of whack.

Hi,
I vomited around 8 or 9 hours after taking the first pill so I think I'm ok there.
