material for menustral pads
Feb. 12th, 2002 03:09 pmi've been following all of the links that have been previously posted with directions to make cloth menustral pads and am about to give it a try. (this is pretty much how i'm planning to make them.)
just a question about materials... everywhere says it's best to use flannel or terry cloth. what about fleece? in my reading on cloth diapers, fleece is best to put next to the baby's skin because it keeps the wetness away... and i'm thinking, why couldn't that make it a good fabric for pads as well? any ideas?
otherwise i have some flannel and also terrycloth from a terrycloth robe that i'm going to cut up. the terrycloth is only fuzzy on one side but i can just fold it over... which of these fabrics will stick best to my underwear?
thanks!!
