random question about birth control

So, I plan on having a fun time next weekend with one of my guy friends but I think I might be getting my period during that time. I went off of the pill 3 months ago. My question is whether or not its possible to go on the pill temporarily just to skip my period for that short amount of time. Would that even work? Has anyone tried this before? It would be most fantastic if this could work.

One of my friends did that, she skipped a couple pills, but yours is kind of the opposite situation... Hm... I don't honestly know.

I don't think there is a definite answer on whether it will or not. It might work, it might not, and you might just get spotting.
