Microgynon & hot flushes

First off;
Big thanks to everyone that replied to my BV post the other day. i managed to call around and find a really nice doctor! Phobia averted :)

OK so on to another question;
Has anyone experienced hot flushes on their break from the pill, specifically microgynon. I've been taking the pill pretty much ever since my periods started and dont know if this is an effect of it or is normal for that 'time of the month' (urch)

I had a tubal ligation a little more than one month ago and I was due to start my period the day after, but I didn't want to deal with that and recovering, so I started a new pack of Loestrin24. I was having horrible hot flashes and night sweats during the days I was supposed to be on my period, but they went away. Its not really the same thing, but I think it may just be because of teh changing hormones in my body, as I was used to a set cycle. Maybe the microgynon is too strong/weak for you?
