Feb. 4th, 2002 06:05 pmow. i keep cramping up like i'm going to start my period. i keep having the usual pre-menstrual symptoms that i have, but then it just goes away. this has happened every month for about 3 or 4 months now, every time i should be having a period, but nothing happens. i was going to get some parsley tea today, but i didn't have a chance to get out to the store. i've tried visualizing my period starting, but that hasn't really worked either. bleh. this is gross.

Date: 2002-02-05 06:55 am (UTC)i have polycystic ovaries, so every time i don't have a period, another cyst permanantly adheres itself to the outside of my ovary. the longer this goes on, the more likely i am to have several kinds of "woman cancer" (i.e. uterine, breast, and cervical) and the less likely i am to be able to bear children. it runs in the family, so if there's any history in your family you should be checked out.
it's not that i necessarily like my period, but it means that everything is healthy and running smoothly inside of me. i like that.
Aaaaaaah
