I wonder what other women would think how necessary this is. The finger-method sounds quite interesting, but the little doodad sort of redundant. I wouldn't use a little baggie to pee in the car as it suggests.

But squatting in the woods is fun, and dry.

Hmmph. I would think you're more likely to catch god-knows-what if you're constantly touching your labia with hands you've washed in a grubby restroom as opposed to just putting your damned bum on the seat and peeing.

it scares me that someone's legs aren't strong enough to support them long enough to pee, so much so that it's inconvenient. i weigh 200 pounds and mine keep me up just fine... :p

a friend of mine used to take an ordinary plastic funnel to festivals so she could pee quickly and easily in the bushes and hence avoid those dodgy chemical toilets! I never tried it, but it sounds like a good idea for women on the go hehe

i checked out that link...
my question is, why would anyone care that much about sitting vs. standing up to pee in the first place? i mean -- yeah, it's a bit more inconvenient, but i don't wanna be unzipping and having my girlyparts out in front of everyone anyway! i'll take a stall and a (sometimes hovering) seat, thanks.

i didn't think there would be -- was merely being pre-emptive. sometimes people get a bit forceful and/or carried away when talking about their opinions, and it turns less into a discussion and more into flaming.
haven't seen much of that here, though. yay! :)
