I've done a bit of research on my situation but I haven't really found anything helpful.
I feel gross telling strangers about this though :x here it goes..
for the past few weeks i've been a bit smelly down there, even though i shower every day.
I've been getting milky, lumpy discharge quite frequently.
The other day at work I felt something wet in my underwear so I went to the bathroom and I found pink, clumpy discharge in my underwear and I was so freaked out. It hasn't happened since then thankfully.
A few days ago my vagina was a bit sore as well.
I live with my boyfriend and we always use condoms (although that hasn't been the case the whole time we've been sleeping together.) I know it's not an STD, my boyfriend has been checked and he's my first.
Although today everything has been completely normal. My discharge is clear and thin and my vay-jay-jay isn't sore at all.
Maybe it's BV or something?
Should I go to the doctor?

The first thought that came to mind was that it could be a yeast infection. I have had several of them and I know how horrible those can be. Another thing I would say is that you might have an allergic reaction to something? I just got over an allergic reaction to a yeast infection about two weeks ago, and it was the worst experience I have ever been through. I would also suggest seeing a doctor about this.

I agree, it does sound like a yeast infection. Even though it seems a little yucky, keep in mind that nothing is too much information on VP: what does it smell like? Fish? Bread? Beer? Pretzels? That will help people to narrow it down.

Also, you're probably going to be asked to change your word choice in the sentence "know it's not an STD, my boyfriend is clean and he's my first" to follow the rules (http://vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=VaginaPagina_FAQ#Why_can.27t_I_use_the_term_.22clean.22_to_mean_.22STI-free.22.3F). Using "clean" like that implies that people with STIs are dirty.

Hi there! Would you mind editing your post so that it does not include the word "clean" to describe someone who is STI-free? Using "clean" that way implies that people who have STIs are "dirty," and we prefer not to further that harmful stereotype.

For more information on this policy, you can read our guidelines here (http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=VaginaPagina_FAQ#Why_can.27t_I_use_the_term_.22clean.22_to_mean_.22STI-free.22.3F).

Thanks!
