Hi, I am worried. I am seeing this guy who I used to see before.

He was the only person I have ever had finish inside of me. When we used condoms it was fine but when we stopped the next morning I would wake up with a terrible headache and eventually vomit multiple times. (I seem to vomit after walking/driving/moving...its almost a dizzy feeling followed by vomit along with the headache.) This headache usually lasts MOST of the next day and I can't do anything.

The rest of my body feels completely normal. There is no change with my vagina what-so-ever.

I am seeing him again and the exact same thing happened again.

I looked into semen allergies and it seems to say that the vagina is red or swollen. but i have NO changes at all. I don't even have cramping or anything in my stomach.

And oddly enough if I swallow his cum I do not get sick the next day.

I am on birth control and have been on the same kind for years.
Any idea what this is? Ever heard of anything like this before?
I just want to fix it and not have to worry about it anymore.

Thanks everyone for any help/info you may have!
xoxo

Checked both the nausea tags and the menstruation tags, found nothing.

BC+ Nausea?

Hi VP, I've been posting a lot of questions recently and if this has already been asked before I apologize.

Anywho, I've been taking birth control since last October (roughly) and have had very little side effects but I'm starting to notice some things. I have been feeling nauseated and having diarrhea like almost clockwork each month so I was wondering if it's definitely related to my BC?

I take the pills every night at 9:00pm. I've been noticing that the Monday after I take my last hormonal pill (Sunday night) I have bad stomach aches and diarrhea. It lasts usually just Monday and maybe a little into Tuesday. I start my period on Thursday night/Friday mornings. Then when Monday comes and I take my first hormonal pill, I have bad stomach aches at night. (No diarrhea or vomiting, though, just nausea.)

Today I have just noticed this trend that it happens like this pretty much every month so far. I originally brushed it off but then I was reading the pamphlet for the BC that said nausea was a side effect and MAY go away after the first 3 months, meaning that it could possibly be a long term side effect. I read on the VP website that I may need to get a BC with a lower dose of Estrogen to combat the nausea.

My question is: Is this related to the BC or is it something else? (I'm 100% positive that I'm not pregnant) Can I have your input please? Thank you so much! You all are so helpful <3

So, I started a new brand of BC pill on Friday -- because I was having large amounts of spotting on the old one, which is counterproductive since I'm on HBC for menstrual suppression -- and I'm back to my lovely standard side effect of nausea and vomiting. (Mostly just the nausea. Fortunately, there's been precious little vomiting this time around. 'Course, it's only been 3 days.)

I realize that my best friend in this circumstance is time, since it's really the only thing that can (maybe) make the nausea go away. However, because the idea of three months of nausea is not a pleasant prospect, I'm looking for ways to manage it in the meantime.

What I've already tried (that hasn't been working):
-- Taking the pill with food or taking the pill at bedtime: I take my pill at 10:00pm, just after eating something small and bland.
-- Eating in small portions spaced throughout the day.
-- Dramamine: Well, the regular version actually does work, but it knocks me out like nobody's business. The non-drowsy version doesn't make me drowsy -- go figure -- but it also doesn't help my nausea.
-- Ginger tea.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
