soooooo, here it is.
my boyfriend and i are long distance. with the situation as it is, i have been on birth control for about two months because of his recent visit, but i stopped it when he left because i have no insurance and that stuff is getting pretty expensive.
anyway, my question is this: is it normal for your period to take a little longer arriving after you've just stopped the pill? with the pill, it was exactly 28 days, obviously, but it's been 33 and it makes me worry.
any advice you ladies could give me would help ease my mind.
thanks so much!

Date: 2007-09-05 03:46 pm (UTC)I personally didn't have a period for almost 12 weeks after the first time I stopped taking it, which is a bit on the long side but nonetheless normal; the Mayo Clinic doesn't recommend consulting a health care professional until your period has been absent for six months. So you're almost certainly quite fine. :)
