Probably the strain you have is resistant to the cipro. I was on it once for a UTI that was resistant to something else. Hmm I would be careful though, because if it doesn't hurt the infection might have moved upwards, to your bladder or kidney. Drink lots of water and if you have lower back pain on both sides see the doctor again!
