Hi. I checked the tags, but I couldn't find any key words I could relate to my question.

What could cause someone's body to stop menstruating without ingesting a BC pill? Besides a condition similar to hypothyroidism, could it just be biological make-up?

I ask this because I don't menstruate every month unless I am taking my Yasmin. Also, I used hypothyroidism as an example because it's a common symptom [I did have this condition several years ago].

Edit: I was diagnosed with amenorrhea 1.5 months ago. For some silly reason, this question has never occurred to me when I'm at an appt.
