I pitch mine into the hamper (without rinsing even) and then just wash them with our regular detergent, which is generally 7th Generation powder. When I have a baby in cloth diapers I wash them with diapers, when I don't wash them with the regular wash.
I havent tried the baby sock but it sounds interesting! I cant use tampons right now (I'm postpartum) but once my period comes back I'll have to give that a go. :)
