vaginapagina | Vulvar pimples and missing period?? (Reply)

Two quick questions for you gals:

1)I'm on OTC-Lo and had my last active pill on Sunday. This was my first month on OTC-Lo; before I had gone on Alesse for 3 days and then quit; my period came after that. So in October I had two periods. It's Wednesday now and my period hasn't shown: should I be worried?

important: I'm on antibiotics that interfere with the BC: my boyfriend and I had about 5 minutes (give or take) of unprotected sex before he put on the condom, and he didn't even go too far into me; we were spooning. I figured we were pretty safe; it was Monday morning and by all rights I should have gotten my period any day now.

2) Last night I discovered a hard, sore lump right on the inside of my vulva by my vaginal opening. Went to the doctor today and she did a swab; she said it looked like a pimple, but is going to get the swab checked, etc. Anyone had this before?

That's all; I gotta get going now.

EDIT: Got my period about half an hour after making this post.

I went to the pharmacist to get Plan B, and she sat down with me and calmed me down, etc. Apparently the antibiotics I'm on don't interfere with HBC after all :) Thanks girls!
