I'm on the NuvaRing and had a LEEP last week. I kept my ring in and my doc took it out for the procedure (so as not to melt it) and then put it back in for me.
She also told me 2 weeks of "vaginal lockdown" (as I like to call it) and then she'll do a post-op and check me out and then release me from there depending upon how I've healed. Several of my friends have had them done recently and were only on lockdown for the two weeks. I'm crossing my fingers because it's just good to know you CAN hump something if you want to. Telling me I can't just makes me want to!!
Good luck! I took my iPod with me and it kept me sane during it. The machine is really loud. Three songs with Neil Diamond and I was all done!
