an ulcer

Has anyone ever heard of having an ulcer in the vagina? i recently went to my docter as it is painful to have sex and she had a look and said it was sore and what looked an ulcer, she said it wasnt to serious but im still worried as i have to wait 11 weeks to see a gyno. ive looked up ulcers and other vagina related topics but havnt found anything. I didn't really get any help form my docter as its not really her area. anyone point me in the right direction??? thanks in advance xxx
