Hii everyone.

Okay, so whenever my boyfriend and I have sex, the area around the vaginal entrance always gets dry and sore.
I try Vagisil, Monoistat, and Lubriderm to bring relief to the area, but nothing works.
I do shave, and take multiple unrelated medications.
I hear that those two factors could have an effect.
Does anyone else experience the itchy/dryness after sex/masturbation?
What can I do to resolve this?

I don't think you are supposd to use Lubriderm on your girly bits so I think I would quit that. Do you use some sort of lube i'm always dry due to hormone problems that helps me

It is possible that shaving and medication could have something to do with it. I think the only thing for you to do would be to use lots and lots of lube before sex...that usually helps me when I'm feeling a bit dry...

I would also recommend using more lube before/during sex. After sex or during the day almond or olive oil might bring relief - they both soothing and, if not processed, full of nutrients that skin really likes (like vitamin E). Just don't use oil if you'll be using latex condoms anytime soon.

If you're comfortable, try not shaving for a week or so. Let the hair grow back and see if your skin benefits from the presence of the natural oils and protection that the hair can provide. That usually works for me.

Putting aside the effect that your medications might be causing... is your boyfriend circumcized? If he is, don't blame your body for the friction! The foreskin is designed in such a way that there's less friction between your skin and his. If he's cut, the surgery he had as an infant changed his penis, made it so it causes more friction in your vagina. In case you haven't had the pleasure, there's a huge difference between sex with a circumcized man and sex with an intact man. It's not your fault that you're dry and chafed. It's been my experience that cut men have to pound harder to get off, so that could be adding to the friction. I would say to try

-- drinking lots more water - you'll get wet more easily

-- adding a glycerine-free water-based lube. glycerine=sugar=yeast infections=bad -- manufacturers add it to lube because it's cheap. make sure yours is glycerine-free... or otherwise try a silicone-based lube, silicone lube lasts longer and doesn't get sticky, but can't be used with silicone toys. try putting some lube inside the condom if you use them...

-- try lots more foreplay for you and for him. you'll be juicier if you do, and if you get him good and hot before penetration, then he'll be more sensitive, he'll go slower, you'll be less sore.

If you are using latex condoms, it is possible you have a mild latex allergy.

Try switching to polyurethane and see if it makes a difference.
