I'm new here. I have a question.
I was feeling like I had a yeast infection. They had been extremely frequent. Finally, I went to the doctor. They did some labs.
No yeast.
No bacteria.
There were, however, white blood cells on the inside of my vagina. She said it was nothing I should worry about.
I took some Diflucan, irritation went away (which seems odd since apparently there was no yeast).
Today, my boyfriend and I had sex for the forst time in about 2 and a half weeks, and my vagina hurt a little bit after.
Could this be related?
And what the hell could be wrong with my vagina?

When you say there was no bacteria what exactly do you mean? The vagina ALWAYS has batural occuring bacteria and yeast. Do you mean that is no bacterial or no yeast infection?

Also, it seems like doctors shove antifungal treatments onto women when they don't know what is wrong with them.

I suggest getting a second opinion. What exactly are your symptoms and can you describe the pain you had during sex?

No that makes sense, i was justw ondering because if there was a lack of bacteria (as opposed to bacterial infection) hat would be a big problem.

So you do NOT have:

A Yeast Infection
A Bacterial Infection
Any STI's

??

Do you feel like there is something going on and the doctors have no clue what it is? How did it start? How long has it been going on? Sorry for all the questions, I want to help =)

Birth control has been linked to yeast problems so that could be part of it. I'm glad youa re feeling better if youc ontinue to have pain do some research on vulvodynia and VULVAR VESTIBULITIS (sorry for the caps). Many women start off with having a bad YI and then develop one of these conditions.
