Hi... I know I have been posting a ton of questions since joining, but here is yet another! How do your hormones keep track of time? For instance, when you are on the pill and they say to take it the same time every day, how does your body register that it is receiving it at the same time? Because my sleep schedule is REALLY random... sometimes I'll go to bed at 11 PM and wake up at 8 AM, other times I go to bed at 5 in the morning and wake up at 5 at night haha. I chose my pill time to be 6 PM because it's around dinner, a time that I am always awake... whereas in the early morning or late at night some days I am sleeping and some days I am not. But does your body know that exactly a day has gone by with some sort of internal clock like your circadian rhythms, or does it work from your sleep cycle? If so, mine would be way off... and would that affect the effectiveness of the birth control?
