Oh the irony

So I'm an Always girl, as in pads for me... I've been ridiculed for this for a LONG freaking time and was told that once I lost my virginity, I would "see the light" and switch to tampons. Yeah. Well that's not happening. The thing is, I tried 5 times and I could STILL feel it... even after following instructions to.the.letter regarding positioning, how far to go, etc.

Anyone heard of anything like this? Should I try a different brand (this was with Tampax Pearls)?
