yasmn is really low dose (not sure how it compares to lo-ovral) so your spotting may mean it's not enough for you, which is usually what spotting is a sign of. obviously, since you just started, it's nothing to worrry about, unless it continues. also if this has happened with several pills that may just be a sign your body needs a stronger pill.
