Starting Ortho Tri Cyclen

vaginapaginaOkay, my gyno started me on ortho tri cyclen for my mood swings and irregular periods.... the only problem is...... she didnt tell me when to start. I ended my period yesterday, and I really dont want to wait till my next period to start my BC, since I'm not using it for actual BC, is it alright to start it anyway? Has anyone had any bad experiances or heard of any that have happened when someone has not started it on their period?
