mammograms and small boobs

So, mammograms, yeah. My mom's breasts are much larger than mine and she says the procedure goes just fine for her, but that my smaller boobs will not enjoy it. For those of you with smaller breasts, please describe your experiences with having your boobs squashed in that thing. Because even though I don't have to start mammograms for another 5-10 years, I'm still worried.
