I'm so sick of the lasting effects of EC.

I took the EC on December 26th. I started a light "period" on New Year's Eve, which ended on the 4th or 5th. On the 5th I started experiencing horrible nausea. I'm still feeling a little queasy now, 3 days later, but its going away. So my hormones have been all over the place- I've been cranky, I've been paranoid about my relationship, I've been a little depressed. when will this all end?!?! and I know the response I'll probably get is "everyone reacts differently to EC" but I kind of just wanted to vent. =\

okay now my real question is: do I need to wait two weeks after taking it to start birth control? is that required, or just a good idea to make sure that all the hormones are out of my system?

and! on cyclespage.com should I add the EC-induced period into my calendar?

okay and on further reflection, I also feel like I'm ovulating, and I'm usually right on the ball with this. lkasjfkala I just feel out of sorts.

it's likely your cycle will be back to normal in a month or so. you don't need to wait before starting birth control, though you do need to consult with the prescribing physician/clinician and be sure it's okay with her/him, and you should mention the problems you've been having lately with bleeding and mood swings.
