I had to pay 55$ once for the EC... really, though, 55$ for piece of mind is not a lot. I never went as a HS student, but many do a sliding scale. As has been mentioned, each one is different, so we can really only give you an idea of a range. keep trying the appointment line and ask when you get to a real person.
