sunburns (totally off topic)

I'm sorry, but this is blatantly really off-topic. I just didn't know of any other medical-related communities in which I'd get a good, trustworthy and prompt answer.

If one was to get a sunburn, and about 3 days later, start to get small blisters all over the sunburned area, should medical attention be sought? Is there anything that can or should be done at home to prevent further injury/infection?
