I am in school to be an esthetician and we just started waxing. A less expensive solution than the tend skin is 2% hydrocortisone cream. It works wonders on skin that has been damaged when waxing.
It sounds like she may have lifted your skin if it's burning that badly. I would suggest witch hazel if you feel like you need to clean it and the hydrocortisone cream.
Also, she should have moved you around and that is probably why she missed hairs. Was she recommended to you by someone or someone you found? I would honestly ask around for a good waxer because some people are just not good at it! It really shouldn't be a super painful procedure unless they are doing it wrong.
