i got one a few months ago, and, yes, when you first look at it, it does look kinda scary! particularly since i'm kinda tight down there. but, they're made of really quite soft and flexible rubber, and although it takes some practice at first, once you've got them in properly, you can't feel a thing. i love it!

hmm. i've never used one...but here are some thoughts.

it's kept in place by suction...so maybe an orgasm could disturb it, since the vaginal walls contract and all during an orgasm?

The only thing I can think is that maybe some of the menstrual flow would be pushed back up from whence it came. And the only reason why I even mention that is that somewhere in the back of my head I remember reading in _Our_Bodies,_Our_selves_ that that might be a contributor to endometriosis and things.
