I've only started getting yeast infections since last winter so I've never encountered this problem. I actually feel a little silly asking it.

It is safe to go swimming in a pool while treating a yeast infection? I would quickly change out of my suit and dry my girly parts once I got out but I'm just wondering if it's a good idea be in chlorine.

not really. because of the chlorine, because of the wet swimsuit (well, like you said, you could change that), and if you think of other people its kinda gross, if you swim around with your YI. you might think it makes no difference, because there is enough gross stuff swimming around anyways.. so another reason not to go.

at least thats what my doc said when i had a YI.

I'm not sure, but just personally I wouldn't think that the chlorine would. Pools don't, or at least they shouldn't, have too high of a chlorine level to begin with. But to be honest I think I'd avoid swimming while using the treatment.
