messy keeper

so, finally (after trying it 3 times) i'm sucessfully using the keeper. the problem i have though, is that it's so messy when i empty it. i'll have bloody mucusy strings hanging from my vagina. is this normal? i really don't like it like this, but i still prefer it to sea sponges because it doesn't need to be emptied as often, is cheaper, and is less embarrassing to clean.

if anyone has any advice on making it less of a mess i'd appreciate it.

Yup, that's normal, and there's not a whole lot a person can do about it. Just be prepared to use lots of TP to get all the bloody strings wiped up, I guess.

1. i don't bother trying to empty mine in the toilet. it's too mucusy and drives me crazy. i tend to use tp to wipe off the sides and then just wash it out in the sink with water.

2. trimming pubic hair helps. it's been a lot less messy with 1/4 inch of hair than with 2 inches or whatever.
