So... I was hoping someone could help me figure out what is going on. For the last week I have had a very heavy, thick white to yellowish discharge and I have needed to urinate constantly. I mean it is so bad I have beed getting up 4 times a night to pee. Which of course means I haven't been getting much sleep. There is no itching and as far as I can tell no odor ,,although one time it did smell a little yeasty down there. I am currently on Nuvaring (which I love) and my bf and I have not had sex since all this started..mainly because I fell "yucky" down there! Any ideas?? Any recommendations on what to do since I won't be able to call my doc till monday!!!!

my dear you have a uti!:( i used to get them all the time!
go see a doctor so it does not turn into a upper urinary tract infection/kidney infection. for tonight-try this it might help, it definatly helped me.

take two extra strength tylenol or advil before going to bed. for some reason when i do that, idont have to pea/the urgency goes away.

also, drink lots of water. you will still pee alot, but you will be flushing everything out. let me guess, you dont pee too much when you have to go now?

and drink cranberry juice like no tomorrow-if you dont like it, drink blueberry instead...if not, you can even eat cranberries/blue berries whole.

i hope this helps!

p.s. alot of people in this community will definatly STRONGLY disagree with this, and ifyour really prone to yeast infections, dont do this, but when i get one i wash down there with antibacterial soap morning and night. and it helps so much. but im not prone to yeasties...

good luck!

hehe, i am one such person to disagree with you. but i'm curious, in what way does it help you? i mean, it can't really get rid of the bacteria that is in your ureathra, so i'm just curious as to what benefits it gives you.

you know what? i dont know, all i know is that the first time i had a uti i was so ashamed/embarassed to tell anyone*ignorance* and i didnt know how to take care of it..i thought if i used antibacterial soap it would work...and 1 day later the itching stopped, a few days later all of my symptoms ceased. and i have been washing with antibacterial soap ever since..and have not experienced any problems.
