My period lasted 7 1/2 frickin days this cycle (normally it's 4 days at the most) I think it's from stress..But anyways it finished yesterday and my SO and I were to have sex, he started to touch me and anytime his fingers were on my vagina (not only inside) it burned like hell...Even when I touched my self.. I've had this happen before right when my period stopped..I ignored it and we had sex (it's not the condom because i don't have an allergic reaction and it's not happened before with these condoms)

But...It burned (not itched) So badly I couldn't even continue having sex.. It was pretty bad, so I tried cold water (ice made it worse) Didn't do much....And well tonight it still burns when I touch my self..

Yeast infection? STD? Anyone ever have this happen before.. Like i said I have once or twice right after my period ended...I don't know..sugesstions? It hurts even when I'm sitting down right now with my pants rubbing against me..

yowch.

I had burning like that and it was a yeast infection. It wasn't as bad as you are describing though...it was just during sex then it progressed to whenever I peed, and I saw a doctor...turned out to be a yeastie. I would see a doctor to be sure, but I didn't have funny discharge or smell funny or anything so I didn't think it would be.

When I have a yeast infection, everything is really tender down there. If someone touches me or I touch myself it hurts & sex in general usually hurts & I'm usually red, too. Of course I've always had itching to go along with the pain & redness. I'd go to the doctor just to see what it is if it's not better after the weekend.

Just a thought... You could be having a reaction to the sanitary products you're using during your period, seeing as you say it has happened after your period a few times before, and also because your period has been unusually long (prolonged use of sanitary products) and the burning was unusually bad. Maybe? I agree with above comments though, go to the doctor to be sure :)

Are you absolutely positive he didn't have chilli on his hands or anything? Cause I've learned to my cost that it's very difficult to wash off your hands completely, and burns like living hell.

Burning is not especially common with women and STIs...but tell a doctor you've got any kind of pelvic pain and they'll check you for gonnorrhea and chlymedia at least.

But if it was burning when he touched you and then you continued, it's very easy that it was almost nothing and then you totally made it worse with the friction.

I usually use a cold wash cloth - not too cold, but cold enough.

But the more times I read it, the more I think it's a yeast infection. But if you think you have a yeast infection and you don't know you have a yeast infection, it's a good idea to go to the doctor because they can rule out other things.
