I am wondering if this community succeeds partially because it's online and therefore (largely) faceless and non-risky. Is it possible to transfer some of its successes into "real life"? For example, I am a student of massage therapy and psychology. I would love to be listed as a Boston-area resource for people to contact with questions or requests (provided I don't become inundated with people). Is this a network that might work for VP-ers, or is this something for a different forum?
