UTI - URINARY tract infection
sperm - not likely to get in there as it's anatomically darn near impossible, and certainly not in amounts that would cause anything. (Also, people don't gtet a sore throat from swallowing, right? ;-)

No. Sperm wouldn't get in there, really, but even if it did...sperm don't multiply like bacteria, for one thing. The reason you get an infection when bacteria gets pushed in to your urethra is because the bacteria will multiply and spread through your urinary tract, infecting you. Bacteria causes you to get sick, sperm does not.

sperm wouldn't, but if you were having intercourse or rubbing together near your urethra, that might have been part of the cause (pushing bacteria into your urethra).

the urethra of a woman (and a man if his Cowper's vessicles aren't working, for that matter) is far far too acidic an environment for the sper to even survive, let alone cause any problems. Besdies, they would get flushed out when you pee since they have no way to cling to the walls.

I don't think the sperm would last long in the urinary tract but that's just an educated guess on my part.

The only possibility would be that they changed the pH, causing it to become less acidic and thus a potential breeding ground for bacteria, though that's a guess based on the fact that you can bring on yeast infections from unprotected sex due to changes in the pH.
