I had my appointment today with my gynecologist. He said that I have PCOS. He was flipping through all the pictures from my previous surgeries (I've had 12 I believe) and was pointing out all the endometriosis and adhesions. He said that we could do another laperoscopy but I don't want to do that and having another surgery is just going to cause more adhesions so I think I should try a few treatment options frist and see if they work. I had a LUNA done and it helped with pain a lot but the nerves have grown back and that is part of why he wanted to do the lap again. I am going to take Provera to try and start my period and then go on an OC to try and keep it normal. He said though that the provera might not even work and that my period might not come back at all. He also told me that between this and the endometriosis my chances of getting pregnant are less then 10%. Its kind of been a depressing day. I thought that I was doing better by not having surgery done and just letting things be "normal" Anyways, I am going to try and see how this works, I go back in 5 weeks to get put on the pill, find out how I am doing and get my labs back. He did a pelvic exam and is still worried about the pain that I am still having. Anyhow, I hope this works out.

Well, guess thats all for now. Thanks ladies.

*hugs* I have endometriosis, too... have you seen a doc that specializes in endo? The Endometriosis Association (http://www.endometriosisassn.org) keeps a list of endo specialists. They might be able to advise you a bit more...

If you don't mind me asking such a dumb question but... what is endo? I know that's a dumb question but I'm curious.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear. PCOS and endo is a heavy burden to bear, especially if you want to have children. Best of luck with any future treatments!

I just want you to know that it isn't always hopeless. I have endo and pcos, and got pregnant in the first month I stopped using bc.
