I think I have a yeast infection, not sure becouse I've never had one before. Its probably the very beginings of one. Anyway, how do I use the garlic clove? I know I peel the outer husk-like skin, but what about the inner skin? And how do I secure it so it doesn't get lost inside me? I don't have gauze, so could I use string? Also how long per a clove per a day and for how many days?

I think you peel it until all you have is the actual garlic itself, what you would use to cook. I threaded a long piece of string through it, but beware, the juices can sting a bit. I used it at night for 2 nights, but I had a very very mild infection.

i use an empty teabag and use dental floss to secure it and to remove it.

i always just use the garlic by itself and have had no problems with it getting lost or anything.

peel away the white papery skin and then the tough/hard single layer after that.

when I did it, I didn't take off the inner skin and I didn't put it in anything. after a few hours, my vagina pushed it out by itself, and I didn't put another piece back in. my infection cleared up almost right away.

I tied a little cheesecloth around one of my cloves... wouldn't recommend it though, it poked me quite a bit. Dental floss seems like a better idea to me, though the garlic won't get lost inside you--a clove is way too big to get through the cervix. I had a bit of trouble getting a clove out when I used it by itself, but once I relaxed it popped right out.

If you're not extremely careful peeling it, you might feel a little stinging from the garlic juice. Everyone's different, but I only felt it sting a tiny bit at first. Once it was well into my vagina, I didn't feel any stinging.

It amused me greatly (and disturbed my boyfriend) for the duration of my treatment :)

Works better if you sort of squish it and bruise it first - there are beneficial chemicals in garlic that are not released unless it is at least lightly crushed. And if you've never had one before you should go get diagnosed, at least the first time, because other things can appear to be yeasty to the inexperienced eye. Also, a few drops of tea tree oil mixed in with a spoonful of olive oil and soaked into a tampon works wonders. (Do not, repeat DO NOT use it straight, it'll take your skin right off!)
