I've got a very mild yeast infection, no discharge just the itch. I was wondering could one use just tea tree oil to get rid of one, and if so, how much and for how long?
thanks ladies :)

yup, you can. i don't usually do tea tree recommendations (i generally push yogurt), but i'd say a diluted tea tree/water mixture (as strong as doesn't hurt ... try 60 water/40 tto), applied as you will, maybe twice a day, until the symptoms subside.

It works fantastic on the mild yeastie beasties.
I used it as and when I felt uncomfortable (which initially was quite frequently), and within two days I was clear of symptoms. I continued to use it twice a day for about 3 days after the symptoms were gone.

I'm a big fan of it myself. But unless you've got a tough vag, be careful, it can be quite burny. I recommend just putting it on a Qtip and swooshing around gently in there, it seems to work pretty well after just a couple days.
