Ok, so I am taking Micronor, and am having some horrible hormone acne that won't fade (and hasn't, for two months now) and is very painful. I am also experiencing some depression, where I cry at the drop of a hat. I need to stay on a POP because I get estrogen migraines (as well as for other reasons, too).

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar on Micronor, and could make a recommendation as to some other POPs I could consider? I am awesome at taking my pill on time, and don't want to get the depo shot. Basically, I'd like to talk to ladies that take a POP, to see what you liked/didn't like.

I have been on Micronor for about three years and am just now starting to encounter some of the same issues you have described, but to a lesser extent. So, really I'm not of much help as I'm in the same boat more or less. The only thing I could think to suggest is maybe try a generic? It's really supposed to be the exact same thing but when I started, I started on generics and was fine for the first two years. This last year being on actual Micronor has played hell with me. I suppose my symptoms are just coming up from being on it so long, but if you can get the generic why not try it? It will be less expensive and you will take it in the same way. So, why not eh?

Whatever you do I'm wishing you the best of luck!
