skin tags

for those of you with skin tags in your vagina:

do they have any feeling in them?? my skin tag was a result of a band of skin inside my vagina breaking during sex; the tag is the remaining fragment of skin. (it doesn't look as unusual as it probably sounds.) i assumed that it had nerve endings because it hurt so badly when it broke several months ago, but i inadvertantly pinched it yesterday, and i literally couldn't feel a thing - couldn't even tell i was touching it.

so my question is: do skin tags have nerve endings??

are you talking about the remnants of your hymen? because that's an entirely different thing than a skin tag (at least as far as I know). skin tags are usually benign "tags" of skin that stick out - they sometimes can be confused or mistaken for warts, especially if they're in the vaginal area. they're similar to moles. but from what you've described it just sounds like it's a piece of your hymen that still remains.

I had one at the edge of my vulva (yay scalpel!) and while it was "deader" than the surrounding skin, it did have some feeling. especially when cut while trimming owowowow

I always clip skin tags off with fingernail clippers. Sometimes it hurts a little but most times it doesn't. Always bleeds like crazy...
